Join us on Feb. 12, 2022, for the 3rd Annual Santa Barbara Running Coyote Mile. This is a fun "kids only" running event for ages 3-18. Our goal is to encourage participation in running and help foster a healthy lifestyle for the youth of Santa Barbara. There will be finisher medals for all and awards given to the top overall boy and girl high school, junior high, elementary, and preschool finisher. A trophy will also be given to the school with the most participants. All levels and abilities are welcome. This is a Junior Grand Prix event for those participating in the SBRA youth race series. $20 registration. Online register highly recommended and will close at noon on Friday, Feb. 11th, 2022: Race day registration $40.
When: February 12, 2022
Start Time: 9:00am. There will be race day registration; however, we strongly encourage you to pre-register before the day of race. Check-in and race day registration will open from 8:00-8:30am.

About The Course: All kids will start at the same time, and we suggest younger, smaller children please start in the back. This will be an out and back course on the grass along Chase Palm Park. It will start near the bridge at Chase Palm Park (where the grass starts) and go out along the grass on the roadside and then go around the public bathrooms and come back on the grass on the beachside. They will go out half a mile and come back to the finish area. To see the course map click here.
Parking: There are some great options to park in the area for free on side streets. If you are looking to park close to the Start/Finish line, there are also a few paid parking options including two parking lots at Garden St. and E. Cabrillo Blvd.
